Today we went to the ocean by the Westin Resort, which was a bit more "private" so-to-speak. It was overcast and windy but the sun came out from behind the clouds every now and then. This was Genesis' first time in the sand and he really didn't know what to think of it. He dug his little toes into it and scratched at it with his hands. I took him up to the water a little while after this picture was taken, and he was just amazed with the waves. I let them hit him a little bit, and one even knocked him over. It was probably a bad idea given how chilly it was, but he survived. After we got done in the ocean and were all freezing to death, we went up and washed the sand off and ended up getting into the heated pool by the Westin.
